David William Kapka

David William Kapka, 60, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, passed away unexpectedly on March 26, 2018 while traveling on his job in Georgia.

Funeral services will be held at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 31, 2018.  The family will receive friends from noon until time for the service.   Burial will follow the service at Columbia Cemetery.

David was born April 16, 1957 in Modesto, California. 

He is survived by four children, Joleen Kapka and Kenneth Kapka, both of Columbia, Matthew Kapka and Nicole Wright and husband, Jerread, all of Coachella, California; four siblings, Donna Holley of Ripon, California, Steve Kapka of Grover Beach, California, Jackie Van Laar of Madera, California, Jim Dale of Ripon, California and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Duane and Betty Jean Kapka-Dale, and step father, Rawn Dale.
