Lawrence Edward Tomlin, 71, of Columbia, MO passed away January 11, 2018 at the HST Veterans Hospital.

   Larry was born December 1, 1946, in Columbia to Robert and Emma Calvin Tomlin and they preceded him in death along with three brothers and five sisters.  In 1970, he married Deborah Lewis and she survives of the home. They had been married 47 years.  He served in the U. S. Navy on board the U. S. S. Hancock from 1965 to 1969.  Larry worked at the Columbia Fire Department from 1971 to 1982 and retired from the University of Missouri in 2002.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the Casino.

   Per Larry’s request there will not be any services.  

   Larry is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.  A niece and nephew also preceded him in death.
