I served with Larry aboard the aircraft carrier USS Hancock in '67 & '68. He came to visit my wife and me in Oklahoma City after his discharge in '69. When we moved to the Kansas City area in 1987 I knew he lived in Columbia and made contact with him again. We had a great visit and, although we were never able to get together, enjoyed renewing our friendship. I was saddened to learn of his passing and want his family to know that I'm grateful our lives crossed. Mike Maddox - McKinney, TX
