Rev. Marvin Leroy Brown, 64, of Columbia peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 12:00 a.m.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 11 at Columbia First Assembly of God with Military Honors.
Marvin was born on January 19, 1955 in St. Louis, the son of Reuben and Valena June Pierce Brown. He was one of twelve children.
Marvin leaves behind seven sisters, Thelma, Myrtle, Regina, Linda, Charlotte, Ladonna and Pamela. He also leaves behind his eight children, Pocahontas (Anthony) Jasper, Adrian (Richard)Williams, Marvin(Kerri) Woodson, Valena (Fred) Grandberry, Myron(Brittney) Woodson, Marquis (Victoria) Brown, Martez (Shellia) Brown and Kanisha Brown. Twenty seven grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings.
The family is being assisted by Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel, Columbia, MO.
