Myron Trapp Obituary

Myron “Mike” Trapp, born September 4, 1927, died at his home Wednesday morning after a lengthy illness.

Born to John and Florene (Dull) Trapp in Temperance, Michigan he went on to serve in the US Navy during WW2. Mike spent most of his adult life in Wauseon, Ohio and moved to Columbia in 2014. He had numerous occupations over the course of his lifetime. He retired from delivering and setting up mobile homes in Ohio in 1989; he managed a gas station in Toledo, Ohio for a number of years after his “retirement”; most recently he worked at the Central Pantry (Food Bank of Mid Missouri).

He was preceded in death by his first wife Nola (Double) and his second wife Evelyn (Duty), his parents, and two brothers and three sisters. He is survived by numerous nephews and nieces, locally by nephews Mike and John Trapp.

There will be a memorial service Sunday at 11 AM at 10 E Leslie Lane in Columbia, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Food Bank of Mid Missouri.
