Angi Pauley Obituary

Angi Lea Pauley went to heaven on October 8, 2020 unexpectedly at her home in Columbia, MO.

Angi was born on July 23, 1964 in Fayette, MO. She graduated from Hickman High School with the class of 1982. She then went on to marry her best friend and soul mate Tony Pauley in 1985. They had their one and only daughter Brooke on September 11th, 1989, who is their pride and joy. She loved her Brookie with all her heart. Throughout Angi and Tony’s 35 years of marriage they formed an unbreakable bond and made countless amazing and unforgettable memories. Angi and Tony completed each other. They were inseparable whether it was watching a sports game, entertaining friends, or spending time with their daughter.

Angi loved her work. She spent the past 15 years as the Career Services Manager at Columbia College. She made many friends that she worked with and truly enjoyed helping others. She was outgoing and was such a people person, she knew no stranger. Angi enjoyed many hobbies: planting flowers, gardening, perfecting her “grill master” skills (telling her “sous-chef” Tony what she needed), laying out in the sun, sorting her amazing jewelry collection, and above all, spending time with her Husband Tony and her Brookie, as well as surrounding herself with her many friends whom she considered family. Angi also loved taking long Jeep rides and walks with her princess pup Marley. Angi loved so hard, her smile was contagious and she was always the life of the party. She had such a bright light and always carried the most positive energy. Her beautiful spirit will live on through the many people that she was close to.

A visitation for Angi is being held at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel on Saturday, October 17th from 11 am until 2 pm.  Face masks and social distancing are required.

Angi is survived by her parents, Larry and Serena Estes; her husband Tony Pauley; her daughter and son-in-law Brooke and Stephon Austin; and her sister Lori Madison.

In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe page has been set up. https://gf.me/u/y4kxf8
