Daniel Lee Lucas

Daniel Lee Lucas, 43, formerly of Fayette, passed away December 6, 2020 at his home in St. Louis, MO.

Daniel was born in Fayette, MO on March 22, 1977, the son of Jerry Lucas and Judy Lucas Miller.  Dan graduated from Fayette High School where he had been active in band, and the speech and drama club.  While in high school, he had also been a cast member of several F.A.C.T. productions.  He attended Webster University in Webster Groves, MO.  Dan had worked in the hospitality industry for the past 23 years.  Dan had a passion for books and reading.  He was seldom without a book nearby.

Survivors include his parents of Fayette; an aunt, Debra Stone of California; and a cousin, Leah Nicole Stone of Arizona and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his step-father, Paul Miller; grandparents, Frankie Stone, and Ardell and Marvin Graves; an uncle. Larry Stone and a cousin, Monica Miller.

A private graveside family service will be held at Fayette City Cemetery with Pastor James Briggs officiating.
