Deanna Lynn (McGinnis) Rupp

Deanna Lynn Rupp, 67, of Columbia passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021.

Deanna was born September 2, 1953, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Lawrence and Mona Lee Stone McGinnis. She graduated from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas with an Education Degree.  On July 24, 1993, she married Ken Rupp in Ohio.  Deanna was a member of The Way International where she was also a Lay Minister.  During her teaching career at a number of schools in the Mid Missouri area, she taught classes K-12 or served as the school librarian.

Deanna is survived by her husband, Ken; sister, Brenda Gorley (Curtis) of Augusta, Georgia and a brother, Lawrence McGinnis of Branson.

A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel.  Visitation for family and friends will be at 1:00 p.m. until time for the service.
