Dorian Lee Blasingame

   Dorian Lee Blasingame, 85, of Columbia passed away on October 9, 2020.

   Private burial will take place at New Salem Cemetery alongside his wife, Renee.

   Dorian was born June 20, 1934, in Wellington, Texas to Clint and Elizabeth Collier Blasingame and they preceded him in death.  On April 9, 1968 he married Renee Garner in Amarillo, Texas and she preceded him in death on July 10, 2017.  Dorian was a Baptist minister serving a number of churches in Texas. 

   Dorian is survived by his sister, Sonya Morrison of Ft. Worth, Texas and four brothers, Raymond, Jerry, John Paul and Kenneth; daughters Desiree Harmon and Angela Hanley; son Scott Blasingame; eight Grandchildren: Paul, Aimee, Ryan, Lauren, Blake, Hope, Faith, Grant; seven Great Grandchildren: Kendall, Hailey, Madeline, Courtney, Chloe, Collins, Alyce; and two Great-Great Grandchildren: Hunter and Ezra.

   He was also preceded in death by his younger brother, Charles Blasingame.

   In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent c/o of Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel, 1610 N. Garth Ave., Columbia, MO 65202.
