Obituary

Eugene “Dale” Thomas, 87, went home to be with his Savior Jesus Christ, Saturday, May 21, 2022.

There will be a gathering of family and friends to celebrate Dale’s life from 2-4pm on May 29th 2022 at Rising Sun Baptist Church, 1901 State Rd DD, Auxvasse, MO 65231.

Dale was born February 27, 1935 to Steven and Celia (Bryant) Thomas.  On July 17, 1954, he married Helen Pollock in Dillon, South Carolina.  He was member of the Rising Sun Baptist Church.

Dale is survived by his wife of 67 years, Helen; Children, Brenda (Dennis) Rhoades, Randy (Tami) Thomas, Richard Lee Thomas and Virginia (Donnie) Shaon; Grandchildren, Johnny (Kara) Rhoades, Brandy (Dan) Ryman and Christine (Josh) Baker, Angie and Andrew Thomas; Great Grandchildren, Kiley (Trevor) Miller, Madison and Kinslee Rhoades, Regan and Rhett Ryman, Holden, Greysen and Carter Baker and Great Great Grandchildren, Liam and Sophia Miller.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to The Gideons International, PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN, 37214-0800.
