Joseph Robert Schmacher
1959 - 2022
Joseph (Joe) Robert Schumacher, 62, of Boonville, Missouri passed away on June 7, 2022. He was born on October 21, 1959 in Columbia, Missouri to Julian (Bud) and Ruth Schumacher. Joe attended University of Missouri-Columbia with degree in electrical engineering. He found his calling working as a marketing assistant at Woodcrest Chapel in Columbia, Missouri.
Some of Joe's favorite activities included playing cribbage, following minor league baseball and putting together jigsaw puzzles.
He is survived by his sisters, Jul (Ernie) Eschrich and Jan (Cla) Stearns, nephew Zac (Alana) Stearns and niece Becca (Jacob) Wilson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents, Ruth and Julian Schumacher.
A private funeral, officiated by Masood Heidari, was held on June 13, 2022 at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel with close family members and friends present. Memorial contributions can be made to Woodcrest Chapel, 2201 West Nifong Blvd., Columbia, Missouri 65203.
