Obituary

Linda Gayle Landreth, 50, a resident of Columbia, passed away at her home on Sunday, August 27, 2023.

Linda was born on December 9, 1972, in Columbia, the daughter of Bryan Thomas “Tom” Landreth and Betty (Burnett) Landreth.

Linda loved her family and cherished the time that she was able to spend with her children and grandchildren, always supporting them in everything they did. She was someone who was always there to listen to you or talk your ear off if you would let her. She was a creative and imaginative woman, who was always down for whatever you needed her to do. She was the type of person you could count on to always be present at family events, and if you needed something Linda was always there to try and help in any way she could. She expressed her love by touch, so she always had her hand on someone’s shoulder or her arm around their neck giving a hug, whether they wanted it or not. She loved days out where she could go and get her nails done, something she loved.

She will be sadly missed and forever remembered by three children, Amber Bealmear of Columbia, Corey Landreth and wife Gabby of Sturgeon, and Cameron Landreth-Simmons and wife Jazlyn Thomas of Columbia; six grandchildren, Derrick Young, Dey’Quan Young, Roman Lewis, Kennedy Landreth, Winston Landreth, and August Landreth; her companion, Fred Simmons. Linda is also survived by seven siblings.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ronald “Moose” Walters; great niece, Lilly “Bean”.

Joint funeral services will be held with her father, Tom at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2023, at Grandview Baptist Church with a visitation being held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Following the services, Linda will be laid to rest with her father and mother in Grandview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family, c/o Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel, 1610 N. Garth Ave. Columbia, Missouri 65202.

Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Landreth Family.
