Sandra Gail (Turner) Misher
1955 – 2023

Sandra (Sandy) Gail Turner Misher was born on March 28, 1955 to Helen Turner Sherres and Woodrow Wilson in Kansas City, MO.  She was received into the arms of the Lord on March 19, 2023.

Sandy was educated in KCMO graduating from Central Senior High School, Class of 1973.  She worked as a Medical Administrative Assistant, prior to working for The Kansas City Star and as a Tax Examining Tec for the Internal Revenue Service.

She was an avid reader and an exceptional baker, known for baking Christmas cookies and her famous peach cobbler.  Sandy loved spending time with her family and traveling to visit relatives in Las Vegas, Colorado and Fayette, MO as a child.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Turner Sherres and Woodrwo Wilson and a sister, Sharon Wheeler.

Sandy was a dedicated mother, sister and grandmother.  She leaves to cherish her memories, sons. Lerron (Crystal) Turner, Christopher Turner, Charles (Evelyn) Misher, Jr. and daughters, Ashley (Denika) Misher and Toi Smith.  Grandchildren, Makayla Turner, Chris Turner, Jr., Jaxon Turner, Jae’lyn Moore and Darius Williams; her brother, Charles (Kerri) Turner (Minneapolis, MN) and sisters, Patricia Maltbia, Rhonya Maltbia and Eula (Hosea) Haywood (Kansas City, MO), Cynthia Wilson-Clark (Colorado Springs, CO) and a special aunt, Margaret Pearson.

Graveside services were held at 12:00 PM, March 28, 2023 at the Fayette City Cemetery in Fayette, MO.
